Chris Roberti once asked me: if I were to open an improv theater, what would I call it?
My response: The Heart. I believe in performances that listen to and honor the things at the root of us. I love when they inspire laughter, and I respect when they speak to the challenges we face throughout our lives. I think building from a truthful and heartfelt place helps us create pieces that inspire the audience to reflect on their own experiences, leading to performances that are rich, personal, and meaningful.
I carry this perspective into my work as a singer, coach, performer, and tech.
